Ursula Graber obtained her Bachelor in Contemporary Dance from the Anton Bruckner University in Linz (Austria). Currently, he finishes his Master in Movement Research at the same University. In the framework of his studies, he investigates Creation in Contemporary Dance, which leads him to study in Manufacture, Lausanne.
He has trained with different dancers: Thomas Hauert, David Zambrano, Martin Kilvady, Kirstie Simson, Regina van Berkel and Eldad Ben Sasson among the most outstanding.
He has a deep knowledge of contemporary dance techniques, including Limón Technique, Contact Improvisation, Ballet, Floorwork, Release Technique, Improvisation and Saolim Kung Fu. Ursula also has advanced knowledge of interpretation and music (piano and singing).
Ursula usually has an eclectic approach in terms of style in the making of her pieces. His piece Tonit’e I will’e danc’e (2016) is a comic-dance performance. In the collaborative work Totem (2017), socio-cultural, tribal and ritualistic contexts are shown. In Trilogue (2017), digital technology and dance merge.
Due to her passion for languages ​​and cultures, Ursula knows six languages fluently: Catalan, Italian, German, English, Spanish and French.
